How many spools is a lot to have at once?

I’m new to personally 3D printing but not to 3D printers. I just ordered 10 spools, my dad ordered 5 or 6 for me, and I have 2, totaling 17 or 18 at once. Is that a lot and if not what is?

It’s not the number of spools that determines what is enough or more than enough it is the ratio of the quantity of spools you have to the quantity you use in a 1 to 2 week period or whatever your turnover time is. One day I had 10 rolls of purple PLA for some reason.
