How do you scan tubular objects like a PVC pipe connector with 123D Catch?

Hi airewav, if it’s a “simple” cylinder, my advice would be to model it rather than scan it. You could spend a long time trying to get the scan perfect, but it’ll take about a minute to produce a hollow cylinder with perfect dimensions in 123D Design. If it’s more complex, Design will probably still be a better option, let us know some details of the object.
