I have a RepRap Prusa i3 that I built last December. Since its assembly, with some testing and calibration, I have had some successful prints. However, one day the printer just started heating up too much. I have the temperature of the hot end set to 240 C for printing ABS, however it is clearly heating up more than that. I have noticed that the filament begins extruding at about what the printer says is 55 C. I have done some research, and I think that it may be a broken thermistor, but I am not completely sure. Anybody have a solution?
