Hi everyone, I just recently flashed my xyzprinting DaVinci 1.0 to repetier host. I am very unhappy with the print quality! Used cura engine as my slicer. The top layer is horrible, andnon some prints the sides were bad too. I messed around with flow right, but I’m not sure if that is the answer. I also don’t know how to get supports where I want them. I was printing with abs and hips, and I used 220 degrees for the extruder + 190 degrees for the print bed. I use different speeds also, but that didn’t seem to help either. Any information is helpful. Here is a picture. https://i.imgsafe.org/ad6ad9d191.jpgThanks for your time,
Noah

Hey Noah,
I believe it is you settings causing you the problems. Your print bed temperature is way too high. It’s almost as hot as the nozzle so it’s harder for the filament to cool after extruding. This will cause it to remain liquid.m and appears to be giving you this unusual looking print.
I have a Da Vinci which has the heated bed about 80 degrees for ABS.
Hope this helps
