Hi Ya’ll. So as this title suggests, I have a Hictop Prusa i3. I’m having a problem with the nozzle thermistor though. I’ve had the printer for around 8 months and occasionally the “Error: Reset” message would appear and I would simple unplug it from the wall and plug it back in and that would fix it. Yesterday I spent a good portion of the day tinkering and re-leveling a new custom aluminum print bed surface and doing test prints with no problems and then it just stopped reading any temperature at all and when I attempt to heat it up the infamous “Error: Reset” message appears. And there’s nothing I can do to get a reading. I’ve noticed that when i first turn in on it reads 20/0 on the screen and everything is working. But all i get is 0/0 and the error message. I’ve thoroughly examined the wire and there’s no damage at all. I’ve also tried plugging in a brand new extra thermistor I have with the same result. I’ve also tested the plugin port on the mother board and it reads 9.2v. So it’s appears the port isn’t the problem. The wire itself isn’t the problem (on both tested). The other possibility would be how in contacts the nozzle block but nothing i do there gets a temp reading also. I have no idea what to do. At a total dead end. Does anyone have any ideas as to what’s going on?
