Hey New Yorkers,
I need some help. I have a Prusa and after assembly I’ve tried everything including this detailed attempt (No Mac serial port choices. Only Bluetooth. Sad I can't use my Arduino Uno. - Installation & Troubleshooting - Arduino Forum) to no avail. I even changed the generic board it came with to an Arduino.
I need someone who is willing to take a look in person. Happy to compensate or buy coffee. Just need another pair of eyes with experience with Repraps to take a look.
Would be super much appreciated. I’m in Manhattan.

Hi @kobster, neither @MattStultz nor @Marshall are NY based, but they both knowledgable when it comes to the Prusa and may be willing to help you out over Skype/Hangout or recommend a NY local Prusa expert.

You may need to install a new FTDI DRIVER for you Mac. I know that on newer OSX OS this driver is “corrupt” and doesn’t play well with arduino. Research FTDI arduino driver and you should find some info. I know I was having the same problem when trying to program an arduino Just for hobby projects.

I’m running on the Mega 2560 and that doesn’t use FTDI but I’ll install it anyways and see if it helps. Thanks.
Thanks Nikki, let me try a couple of suggestions, otherwise I’ll ping them.
