I just got my AnyCubic 3d printer for Christmas. I finished the assembly and powered it up. The LCD worked perfectly and all the commands seemed to work. When I plugged it into my computer and downloaded the firmware from the usb it connected to my computer and the LCD had 4 lines of blocks that went through it and all the info on the screen went blank. I don’t know what I did wrong as I followed the Directions for Arduino. It is a ATmega 2560 processor on port com3. It was only after Arduino finished uploading to the LCD board that this problem happened. The printer was working independently through a SD card previously and now it doesn’t work at all.

Does the computer still recognize the printer when you plug it in?

Here is my Repetier firmware for the Anycubic Kossel Linear:

Follow the directions for installing and configuring.

It works perfectly for me.

If you prefer Marlin - which I would not recommend - Repetier is better for deltas - then you can download the original from Anycubic and try it:
