Hi , I would like some advice to print this shape in ABS.

I printed one piece horizontally (tekst side up) using a raft and support. This object must be strong hence i used 100% infill (but maybe i should use actually less to keep flexibility to ensure the object will not break). the size of the object is about 70mm x 70 mm.

specs: 0.2 layerheight ; speed 50 mm/sec ; fan 50%;

Printing with 0.2 layer height on it’s back, will show a lot of layers facets on the top surface, with that slight curve,

you need to print at least or lower then 0.1 to get some kind of smooth surface.

But my bet would be to print on a 45 degree angle :slight_smile:

Yeah actually printing it a little tilted was my first take. For some reason the printer stopped after 20 layers without giving any type of error. However this off topic and someday I will raise another topic to discuss logging. I will try the 45 degrees and see how it goes. Thanks
