So I bought a generic ramps 1.4 with a 2650. It was a kit that came with the controller, ramps, stepper drivers and LCD.

I uploaded marlin the to board, and I can connect to my slicer, and view the thermistor temperature readings, but I can’t do anything else. The LCD lights up but is blank. I set my correct LCD and ramps in marlin before uploading and I have tried re uploading a few times.

Is this a gLCD with the two 10-pin cables? If so they sometimes have the sockets installed backwards. Try reversing the plugs, it will bend the plastic of the socket out slightly but it will go in.

Ill definitely be giving that a try, however I get no other responce from the machine off of my slicer. For example, I cannot move any of the motors.
