So I have started experiencing this problem since I started prints larger than 1 inch. The filament first starts to form waves on any long flat layer, not just the first. Then the waves get bigger, and warp more and more, and then the hot end collides with them, even if its the last layer. I used disks to anchor down four corners, and used holes where I could to break up the longer strings, and used hex infill to minimize warping, but whenever i have a long flat surface, it has started to turn into decorative wavy cake frosting, with Baked Alaska scorches. Running White ABS at 217-220, using 0.4 nozzle and 1.75mm filament. I’m not sure if im too hot or too cold, or there’s something I’m missing.

Have same curling warping problems on all long layers with PLA.

i was able to cut out the pillowing almost entirely by cutting speed to about 38% And removing brims, but i need an alternative anchor point to disks, since they don’t do anything if they don’t make contact. The larger the print object, the more breaks it needs between extrusion, and a giant raft or brim is just an even bigger contributor to warping. I should have shopped for glue sticks.
