Hello All!

Just dropping a post in here to say hello! I am a new printer located in Montrose and hope to drum up some conversation about 3D printing in our area. I don’t have any commercial printers to chat with out here and am lonely lol…Anywhoo…hit me up , let’s chat printing!

I am on a UM2, vanilla from Fbrc8 (Mar 2015)…212 hrs print time…4mm nozzle… I can go .25 to 0.05

Rifle Creek Hub here,

An architecture office with a Zcorp 250C.

It’s a powder based printer and we use it in-house mostly.

It’s a great tool for converting designs in Sketchup to real objects.

I have a friend here in Rifle that has extensive knowledge of extrusion type printing.

There is a great resource in Minturn, LGM, if you have specific questions.about running a 3D printing business.

Finally, I just found out there is a Makerspace that opened in Grand Junction you may be able to collaborate with.

I am a disabled vet and 3d printing is my retirement job…lol…I am, as far as I can tell, the only guy in the Montrose/GJ/Ridgeway area doing consumer 3D printing…I know nothing…lol…just out here trying to educate the public and drum up enthusiasm!

I’m up in Colorado Springs running a customized Creator Bot 3D from 3D printer works. I just filled my first order yesterday so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that my client is happy with the process. If all goes well, I’ll be sporting a new Genesis Uno from X3D in the near future to increas my capasity to print for people. Pluss I’m designing and building my own printer at the moment. I think I’ve been bitten by the 3D printing Bug!

I am only a 12 Year old kid, but I am obsessed with 3D Printing! I have my own 3D Printer, (A Lulzbot Mini) and I just received my first order yesterday!
