Hello you all,
I want to assemble two parts that I downloaded from “http://www.123dapp.com/123D_Design/”.

I have the problem that the “stepper_bracket” is quite complex.

When I want to snap two surfaces of the objects, only a part of the “.stp” model is snapped and the rest stays at its place. So I want to group or merge the complete “.stp” Object before snapping. But then I would have to select each small part of the model. Is there a way to select all parts and group/merge them in one step?
