I am having an issue where the bowden gear extruder strips the carbon fiber filament after sometime of printing. I am think that perhaps I should turn off retractions and slow down the printing speed. I am using proto-pasta carbon fiber filament, .4mm extruder, 245 C for the extruder, and 5100 mm/min for the print speed. Proto-pasta does state the I should be able to print with a .4mm head. It is brittle stuff which is definitely the cause of this.
