G-Code for the da Vinci Mini (with Wi-Fi)

Hi All,

I recently got the da Vinci Mini (technically referred to as the “da Vinci Mini w”) and I must say, it’s pretty cool. I am not too thrilled with the XYZWare so I have been playing around with MeshMixer and Simplify3D. Simplify3D has a profile for the Mini, but I think it’s off. Does anyone know how to view the gcode for the Mini with wi-fi? Basically, I am trying to find the optimal settings so I can update/tweak the profile in Simplify3D. Thanks!

If you can get the temp file that is sent over WiFi by XYZ ware you can open it in notepad assuming it’s a Geode file and if you know the commands then you can get the settings from there

Hi Cory,

Thanks for the info. The WiFi on the Mini is not working correctly (XYZ is aware of the problem and has promised a firmware update). So I have been printing over USB. Any ideas on where I might look for the Geode file? Thx!
