I never saw this mentioned in the changelog but noticed it in the guide Knowledge base | Hubs

When instant order started it was only for items 250cm3 or less. But it looks like that limit has now changed to 500cm3.

Tangential rendering of my opinion: Reading the FAQ about Instant Order makes it look like a really great way to trash one’s Hub’s reputation. I haven’t seen sufficient evidence yet that the automatic model validator is capable of making the right judgement calls in order not to cost me a lot of extra time, materials, or lost rep for declining an order.

Besides, quality customers like Hubs that engage with them. Submit an order that I can’t accept, and I’ll tell you what you can change to make it acceptable, or what kind of 3D printing technology could produce the model unchanged. That’s a valuable service in itself, and doesn’t cost me anything but a few minutes of time.

Yeah im not a fan of instant order either. Theres a reason other places with similar technology such as cnc shops have a quote system. One size doesnt fit all and sometimes you need a person to look over the file and help determine best method.

But it appears that hubs are now being penalized if they do not participate in it. Since if you look at all the the hubs selected for the automatic hub selection have it enabled. So hubs that didnt have it weren’t invited for the “trial” run and have now had a harder time getting any new orders since implemented.
