…has anyone come across food-grade silicone as printing material, and if so which machine makes this a reality please? Many thanks in advance!!!

The general consensus is that it’s easier to make a positive mold with your 3D printer, then use food-grade silicone to make the working mold from that.

We have completed specialized prints in the past, we require a minimum of 2 - 3 kg’s of raw pellets which we then extrude with a bench top extruder into 3 mm filament. Then the product is printed with the specific polymer. Little bit of messing around but the results have been great. Do you have a specific F.S. polymer in mind as no one has asked for that yet?

Agreed that it is much better to print the item you want then make a mold from that.
