Hello!
A few weeks ago, I bought myself my first 3D-printer, a Flashforce Finder. Ever since, I printed some few projects using the material PLA and I am very satisfied.
Now my wife got the idea to print the foot inlay of a mixing bowl in the kitchen, as the one currently in use is rather worn-out. This foot inlay is made of some kind of rubber, meaning it is really flexible and seems to be intented to work as a safety against slippery for the mixing bowl. It is nothing more than a ring made of rubber with a small heel, drawing this should be no problem.
My question: am I able to simply print using flexible filament, that is: can I simply work with a material other than PLA? Which material would be the best to use in my special case and what are the details I’d have to pay attention to? Up to now, I am using 1,75mm PLA. I really think, that I’m a beginner in this whole thing so I’d be very thankful for every single hint or any good link.
Thanks a whole lot in advance,
Dennis
