Hi all - I’m trying to fix my coworker’s son’s Flashforge Finder as he said it wasn’t printing anymore. I powered on the printer and started to home but looks like it’s already struggling there.

When homing, the y limit switch is not activated and the printer constantly bumps trying to home until failing. I checked and I can depress the limit switch of the extruder carriage is all the way to the left (far side of the x axis) but as soon as it’s all the way to the right, doesn’t work as well. Seeing as the carriage is all the way to the right, I think this is why it won’t home. I tried bending the limit switch out slightly but this didn’t improve.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Greatly appreciate if someone can point me towards a quick fix or advise if I instead need to replace a part. Including a link (file size too large to upload as an attachment) to a short video showing the issue below:

THanks everyone for your help!

Same problem here with x-axis limit. When homing the carriage constantly bumps and then fails to home. I have a feeling that end stop sensor cable has been worn out. Tried to replace x-axis motor cable, but this does not help.
