Hi all,

I have purchased a Flashforge Finder 3D printer about 6 months ago and love it. My only qualm is that now I’ve looked around at other printers, having a heated bed appears to give a big improvement on fabrication result. So I started to think of how to inexpensively implement this on my Flashforge Finder.

I have come up with a cheap method for creating a heated bed by using 4 40x40mm Peltiers, two sheets of perspex cut to the print bed size, a bunch of wires, Wago connectors and a DC power supply. These all together cost around £60 (mostly depending on the DC power supply).

I am looking for some feedback on this idea, as to whether anyone has tried this before and if anyone is interested in more details.

Thanks,

Rowan
