Hello,

I was using the bed calibrating program thats included in the firmware of the Creator Pro 2016 where bed drives up and you move the printhead by hand to level the bed.

And i noticed that moving in the Y Axis goes realy bad.

So removed the belts an moved the axis without a motor that causes load while moving and it moves also really bad. It stutters over the guidances like the bearing where crap

But they are NEW! the whole printer is new. can this be normal?

Make sure that each side is moving the same and are lined up to each other so they are not crooked which might cause the bearings to bind.

Maybe a bearing is partially out of the holder.

Look for anything else that could be interfering.

I disassembled my printer now to check the movements of the rods in the linear bearings.

They move reeeeally bad. The printer is only one week old. The X Axis is very smooth. very strange

See my other reply. Get a hold of the seller and try for a replacement. Also was there any damage to the shipping carton and stuff inside?

Just in case you don’t believe how bad it is:

see it here:

My advice: never buy flashforge!

Bent Bed! Bent Z Axis Spindle!

Holy … this a almost 1000 € Printer… :-/

You may need just new bearings, I have a Prusa i3 mk2 and after a while the x carriage was moving a bit like that, but not completely, or try re-oiling the rods.

Contact your seller about this it could be a bearing issue. I have had a Flash Forge creator Pro since July 2016 and (touch wood) it has never missed a beat it runs like an absolute dream and i cannot recommend it highly enough. I have had to grease the rods but then i have done a lot of printing most days including some 24hr+ prints. Hope you get it sorted but i would happily buy another

You need to make sure the steppers are not engaged when you move the print head. I don’t use the software. I just manually jog the bed up as high as it will go using he jog controlles and manually move the printhead.

I posted this video yesterday in this thread:

The printer is dissambled. there is no motor  It’s just broken. After one week. I sent the printer back to amazon and ordered a prusa i3 mk2

Hum, interesting choice. I don’t even consider those two printers to be in the same category. I have 3 FFC pros and have never had a problem with any of them. Might have been damaged in shipping. I heard that happens sometimes.

Believe me, that is not normal if it were flashforge printers would not be so popular. I would think that was a shipping issue or treatment of it prior to shipping. I bought mine directly from Flashforge and they all are perfect.
