I purchased a new Flashforge Creator Pro from Flashforge website. I use the machine for about 2-3 hours for about 7 days. It print fine and I was happy with it.
Issues:
- Print stops randomly above the object in the middle of printing. No fillament jams. The printer showed the print job completed to 43% and no error message. The machine is not frozen and I can use the menu to cancel the job.
- Printer head moves all the way to the left and front randomly crashing to the side.
- Prints 2-3mm above the object randomly.
- I restarted the machine several times, but these issues repeat randomly.I can’t get a single part to print successfully.I’m trying to print the test print that came with the SD card.
Setup:
- Using SD Card to print and USB Cable is disconnected.
- Using Replicator G and Simplify3D for slicing software
- I use PLA on right extruder and ABS on left.
Support:
- Contacted Flashforge and I was asked to format the SD Card. That didn’t work
- I was asked to remove the cover and flash the firmware from the MicroSD Card from the motherboard but there isn’t MicroSD Card on the motherboard.
Anyone run into this? Any suggestion? Thanks!
A few questions:
1. Are you printing the same file over and over or a different one?
2. If they are different to they stop at the same height? or the same percentage complete?
3. If they are the same are you have you recompiled the file or are you running an Identical one?
4. Have you tried a different slicer? Can you send me a file to slice using Slic3r? (I also have a FFCP)
5. Have you tried updating the firmware? (Using the provided USB cable and ReplicatorG)
