Help!

PROBLEM:

When I attempt to print anything that requires dual extrusion, it does the following:

1) Preheats successfully

2) Extrudes the line across the build plate for pre-extrusion cleaning successfully for the first material

3) At the end of the pre-extrusion of the first material, it moves all the way to the right, past the end of the plate, and just sits there. It seems to think that its printing. Sometimes some plastic will ooze out. The little light under the build plate flickers irregularly.

4) Then, at some point, it may just start vibrating and shaking as the extruder moves to the left side and just keeps on trying to go left, and more left, and more left… or it may print some random line or part of a shape half off the build plate for one layer and then proceed to crash into the side and vibrate and shake.

5) I cancel the print and it continues to vibrate and shake until the build plate is entirely lowered. It has at least once just failed to cancel the print.

DETAILS:

FlashForge Creator Pro

Firmware: Sailfish 7.8 r0e8a9

Using FlashPrint, tried current version as well as v3.11.0 in troubleshooting.

Printing PLA on left and PVA dissolvable on right, both relatively new, and both used without issue for single-extrusion.

The printer works perfectly for prints that only use one material, using either the left or right extruder.

Thank you in advance.
