Hello,
I cant level my bed because it’s like its bend. It’s like it has dent in the middle and in the front left corner. Anyone else with this issue on the FFCP? I cant print because in the middle the head scratches almost the bed and in the regions 2 inch away from the middle the distance is to big while its in the left fron corner it’s scratching.
This is why people get glass beds. Glass is level.
You say that but I just bought a borosilicate glass bed for my CTC and the bloody thing is still more than 0.1mm bowed in the middle! Anyone know a UK source for a good one?
Not being argumentative here. But glass by its nature is flat. Not saying its not warped.
But is there some chance your rod is sagging?

From my experience with the flashforge the rod sag slightly in the middle. It was a long time before I sussed it out, I turned the pate upside down, added glass and tried just about everything I could think of. I learned that people were removing one of the extruder and even printing the fan guards in plastic to replace the metal ones. I haven’t done it because I want to use it for dual printing, but there’s a few topics on the subject:)
Certain it’s not, I measured the glass against a ground straight edge with feelers as I got sick of chasing around in circles trying to get it level.
Float glass is flat, yes, but most glass sold for 3d printing use doesn’t appear to be float glass…to be honest unless I can find a supplier that does instead of the cheap tat, I might just buy some 1/2" thick Mic-6 ground aluminium tooling plate and swap the ally bed out for that, it’s accurate to 0.025mm over the length in that size.
