Hello, I bought the 2015 model of the FFCP last year. I recently thought it would be nice to print protopasta carbon fiber and other exotic filaments, I lost the plastic shields for ABS printing and also want to upgrade the extruders to something a lot hotter. Any Ideas?

Micro Swiss Online Store works great, and has a hardened nozzle so you can use the more abrasive filaments

I use the Micro Swiss all metal hotends. They are great.

If you have a laser cutter at home, then you should be able to make the ABS acrylic sheiks at home. I believe the files are out there somewhere. If not, you should check your area around for a Makerspace where you could use their laser cutter.

I’m just upgrading the the Micro Swiss all-metal hot-ends, so it’s good to see a couple of satisfied customers. I was also considering the Devils in the details 3-in-1 extruder upgrade…

Anybody have any thoughts about this?

Cheers,
