I would like to know about how much it would cost tyo print and object from something I hand built for a prototype. The measurements are approx 7" long, 3 1/2" wide and about 1" tall.
Hi Daniel, If you have the .stl file, the best way to go about this is to:
1. Go to Online 3D Printing Service | Instant 3D Printing Quotes | Hubs
2. Upload your file
3. Fill in your location
4. Select your material
4. Then choose a Hub based on their location and quote
Alternatively, tagging your post with the city you live in will trigger notifications to all the Hubs in the area that can help with a quote.

Hi Daniel,
if you can provide an stl file (for example get your model scanned) then you can proceed as @Gabriela3d has commented already.
However if you don’t want to invest into the scanning service (usually only costeffective if very odd and complex geometries are required) you can also get this object 3d modeled in CAD software.
My hub offers 3d modeling in industrial-level software as well as printing large objects (like yours) in a wide variety of colors and materials.
The model seems fairly basic in terms of it’s shape so if you could provide accurate measurements and a propper description of the models use case (to find the correct material), then I could set up a quote for you.

Where would I go to have the model 3d scanned?
Hey Daniel, if you go to Online 3D Printing Service | Instant 3D Printing Quotes | Hubs, under section number 2 - Choose a material to print in - there’s the More Filters button. After you click on it, all you have to do is check the ‘Can help with 3D scanning’ option, under Hub services.
Of course you’ll have to fill in your location as well. Would you like to add the location to this thread as well? If you tell me whcih city, I can add it for you.
