I acquired this kit at a ridiculous price, but my time with it has convinced me that the full price of $350.00 is a deal in and of itself. The instructions out there are more than adequate with only minor deviations made on my part. Here are some images of the first week with this plucky lil bot.

Nice job! It’s a great printer.
Very nice! I absolutely love my little PrintrBot.
i have a printrbot 2013, nice machine. I already upgraded almost everything and keep working fine.
Is a very good choice for a first 3d printer
Hey, I set mine up but when I run the auto calibrate, the band that moves the platform falls off. Any suggestions?

Make sure that the belt is in the pulley and that your belt is tight enough.
Yyou can tighten it by adjusting the screws on the right side of the bed
I love my Printrbot Simple Maker 1405 too but it has developed a very peculiar bug. The auto leveling goes to a good bed height at all three points and then tries to print a bad bed height. When I try to follow the instruction on using repetier, slic3r unexpectedly quits so if you respond with stop using Cura please provide better instructions on repetier than this URL provides.https://printrbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Getting-Started-Guide.pdf
Here is a video of my problem with Cura. I apologize about the quality of the video.
