Hey everybody I’m very new to the 3D printing community and am looking to buy my first printer. The lead right now is the Trinus3D. Based on the reviews it seems very reliable, sturdy, and simple. The only issue is it seems like a relatively small build volume. As I’ll only be hobbying, how significant is this, and how much would this limit myself? Again, I’m new to this so all input is helpful! (Also not deadest on Trinus so suggestions in that way are also appreciated)

Hi @Goldy, our 3D Printer Guide is a great resource for people looking to buy a 3D printer. You can check out which one is right for you based on your criteria and reviews from owners in our community right here. We’ll be releasing the 2017 3D Printer Guide next week, so stay tuned for that!

Thanks really appreciate it will definitely check it out!

Welcome to the Family @Goldy

We recently bought a new printer, It’s the Robo 3D +Plus. Best Buy currently had it on sale and we are expecting our shipment today. I suggest checking sites like DealNews or something because 3D Printers are becoming more and more popular, which makes them more affordable as well. Once you find a deal you can start a research and make your decision.

Best Buy and Sam’s club now carry printers and offer a store front experience when purchasing. The reason that became important to us was once one of our printers broke we had nowhere to turn to other then the manufacturer which was overseas. They were not able to take calls and we lost 4 weeks of emails back on forth to just diagnose the printer. Now they said a replacement part is on the way. However we still lost a lot of work when the printer was down and by having a storefront store, you can talk to a human and replace it for a new printer.
