I want to get started into 3D printing and my budget is about 1000€.
I already got a lot of recommandations but didnt ask in a broad forum yet.
The printer I settled on for now is a Flashforge Creator Pro (2016 Version).
As for now, I have 0 expirience with 3D printing, but im technicly adept (at least to a certain amount).
Something important to me, I want to be able to print in ABS (therefore heated bed/enclosed case), since I want to print stuff which is pretty wear resistant.
But I want to print very fine and decent looking models in PLA too.
Is that too much for the creator pro, or is it doable?
So, good choice?
If not, why and feel free to recommend other printers

My FF is 2 years old and still producing Top Quality Prints, I am about to purchase a second machine.
I have two FFCP’s and they are great but you may want to check out the QIDI Tech-1. Basically the same thing. I have one also and it is great. Support has been excellent.
I would say that one, or the MK2, bu t probably the flashforge, it is supper reliable, and has not broke down on me since I got it. The only thing is that filament loading is not the most fun.
I second the FF, its reliable and producing amazing quality.
The flash forge is an exelent choice, i have printed very detailed moddles on this 3D printer. Now with all 3D printers there are always going to be failures. After all your dealing with technology, but 8/10 times it works flawlessly. If you want some help getting started on your print hit me up on slype. My skype name is jadentheengineer. Welcome to the world of 3D printing!

I love mine. I have 3 of them. One at my house and 2 at my work. The only other printer I would consider is the Makergear M2.

If you are in the market for a FF Creator Pro, get either the Qidi Tech or the PowerSpec Pro (MicroCenter version), and save yourself $200. The only thing you get different with the Creator Pro over the other two is less weight.
I will say that if you plan on keeping up with 3D printing, you will quickly find it’s small bed size limiting. It’s tiny in comparison to what else is out there in the same price range. Enclosed case shouldn’t be a limiting factor in your purchase, you can buy or build an enclosure for really cheap for almost all printers.
I’d say for the price your best bet is the Original Prusa i3 MK2, then build the enclosure out of two Ikea tables that cost $9 USD each.
I agree that clones (of a clone :-)) are as good as the ‘original’. You can even find clones of the creator x for half the price which are as good as it. Much cheaper. As I have both a ff and a prusa, I would still consider the ff better ( I print at crazy 0.025 resolutions on it sometimes!!! ). Also, a horizontaly moving bed is not always optimal if you print tall, small base objects. Nice IKEA hack advice, though
