I subscribed to the magazine to forward my advancement in technology. I too though am having problems with my V3 printer.
I can get it to connect to my system(s) and after time it will connect but then I can’t do anything else as the software greys itself out so am unable to actually use the software.
It is also extremely noisy. The sp called geeks quad don’t really have a clue and aren’t really that bothered about trying to rectify the problem. I have sent multiple emails including, photo’s and video footage of what happens and yet they seem to be responding with the same questions all the time 
I have actually almost the same problem with my prusa i3 mk2 (The software part works for me though) I also don’t know why it is that noisy.
