Hey!

I’m looking for a place in or near Copenhagen that can print in PVA. Doing this thread since PVA doesn’t seem to be a search option on this site.

What I want to print are (ideally) 20-25 copies of the same object – an iPhone 6. I’m attaching the model.

If I manage to get the prints done in time, they’re going to be in an exhibition where they’ll be left to dissolve (this is why I’m thinking PVA). However, I need to find a place that can print really fast, since the prints would need to be ready this Thursday (the 19th) at the latest… So, this is maybe not a very realistic request.

If anyone here has a hub that could get the job done (or at least some of objects and not all 20-25), please contact me here – or even better, call me on: 21843475.

I should be able to get my hands on the PVA filament in rolls of Ø 2,85mm or Ø 1,75mm from 3D Printhuset.

By the way, sorry for double-threading (I already have another thread on compostable filaments).

Why PVA?

I have a roll of PVA, I can make a test print of your phone. What do you need it for? - Should it be able to take a beating or just be hollow or does it need some stuff inside?

Also, how fast do you need them?

This sounds like an interesting project! Hope you’ll come back and show us the results. I only have a small amount of PVA and I’m in the UK else, I’d leap at the chance.
