Hello, I have a CTC Replicator Dual, but only use one extruder due to the fact I could never get it working properly, anyway because I was bored decided to look at ways to improve it, a couple of mods I printed like, glass bed restriction thingy so the bed would stop earlier, and just a couple of parts to make it look better.

My question is lets say I understand everything about this printer, to avoid people saying do not do it, would it theoretically be possible to replace me extruder with this one?

You just need a working mount.

Thanks, like I said I am bored, and I bought it via Amazon Prime, and will be here today some time.

I don’t understand how it’s possible to be bored :slight_smile: If in not setting up prints or finishing printing I’m building and maintaining printers. Also you might want to try making it a bowden machine using a 3d cam or e3d hotend (both prime) and a different extruder. The thing to watch for is that stupid x endstop, as long I’m thinking of the right machine, I pull the dual extruders of my flash forges and just manually tap the endstop at the start of each print.
