Extruder and Platform Temp Issue - Printing from SD Card (just getting started w this!)

I’m trying to get my first successful print going using one of the QidiTech samples.

For PLA, it’s recommended to have Extruder to 230C and Platform to 70C.

However, when I go to print from the SD card and it starts to hit, it’s settings are already at 210C for Extruder and 40C for platform. This caused my first print not to work out b/c the plastic dried too fast. It stuck fine to the print bed though.

What am I missing here?

210 is fine for PLA. 40 might be a bit low for the bed for PLA.
