Hello,
how am I ever supposed to get any orders on my hub when there’s a standard activated search filter to hide all the “inexperienced” Hubs, only based on how many orders they’ve fulfilled? This isn’t really an advantage for anyone, and there are many Hubs in my region who’re under that arbitrary 5 orders mark since over a year. What’s even the point of spending a few hours setting up an account on this site only to be later found somewhere in some scary dark corner? Come on, you could even earn more money by answering some online surveys in that time.

Marian,
You need to do a few things to bring your hub up to snuff. I am trying to be helpful here:
1.You need to increase your colors. This is your number one issue. When folks find your hub, and want black (the number one requested color) , the will just move on when they see you do not have it. Or blue, or yellow, etc.
AT THE VERY LEAST, add an “ASK” color, if you have access to quick purchasing of requested colors. This way, you can order filament when orders come in, building up your stock. Please add black.
2. Get some friends and family to order some prints from you, and have them post reviews. Do good prints for them.
3. I dont see the standard “standard activated search filter to hide all the “inexperienced” Hubs” not that there isn’t such a thing, but I can’t seem to find it.
4. Keep your pricing very competitive to start out!

Hi @mariankeller further to @Perry_1’s excellent advice, if you think about it, all the hubs that have got past the 5 order mark and way beyond are proof that orders will come to you, so long as your hub is an attractive prospect.

Hi Marian,
I found that when I just started out on 3D Hubs my pricing was diriving off potential customers. When you are just beginning, it might be beneficial to have a low price so that customers are more willing to “take a chance” at using your hub over going to someone else with a lower price AND more reviews. Hubs added a great pricing feature a while back where you can apply a percentage discount to any orders over a specified value (ie 40% off orders over $20). Might be good to look into something like that.
I also noticed that your communication rating from the initial print was low. Customers LOVE being updated on their print, and knowing about any potential issues that might arise.
The things that @Perry_1 said were all really great too, I will be using that advice myself as well.
