I’m based in Lund, and I am interested in meeting others that also like 3D printing. I’m thinking that we perhaps should organise a small event, like one or two small presentations and then open discussions. Perfect on your way home from work or class.

I can host it at Ideon in Lund, but I would like to know (a) if there are others that think this would be great fun, and (b) if there are any ideas on topics to present.

What do you think?

Awesome idea! @telma could help you with that

Super! Thanks @Arnoldas! I’ll get in touch now

Sounds like fun. I’m certainly interested in attending.

Regarding topics, perhaps a talk about printer modifications, exotic materials or surface finishing/painting of prints.

Heyo! We already have a 3D printing group like two blocks away from Ideon, we meet up regularly, host courses on 3D printing and sometimes events, most of all just have fun in regards to 3D printing (and electronics).

It’s at ProLab which is an free open space and a prototype lab under development. Also, there’s a tutorial night today at 19.30 if you’re keen on stopping by for a casual learning event

Would be super fun to have more people join the 3D printing group too!

Why haven’t I ever heard of this before? Is it okay to just show up at an event?

We just opened so it isn’t weird if you haven’t heard of it.
Ofc! It’s open and free, so whenever anythings happening it’s just to join in. I’ll be there Sunday at 12.30 for brunch and movie
