Hi, I am regularly getting the following error message when starting FlashPrint. “c:\Program Files\Flashprint\Qt5 Core.dll contains errors. Error status 0xc0000020.” To resolve, I need to uninstall the program and reinstall. I ma running Windows 10 64 Bit. Any ideas.
Is it the latest version of Flashprint? Did other versions work ok?

Hi
I’m not sure. I installed using 3.17.0, but I’m no longer sure whether the problem occurred after being prompted to upgrade.
I have now uninstalled and reinstalled 3.17.0 and will not upgrade to test. So far I have open and closed numerous times without issue.
I shall test over next couple of days and advise if I still have the issue.
Thanks very much for your reply.

Hi
Further to my last post.
It appears that the error occurs if I open FlashPrint when I have Revit open. Once the error occurs for the first time, it will reoccur every time thereafter when I try to open FlashPrint, regardless of whether I have Revit open.
Revit is the program I use to create the architectural models I wish to print, so its a real pain, as I then have to uninstall FlashPrint and reinstall. If I make the mistake of having Revit open and try to open FlashPrint, I have to go through the whole process again.

I am familiar with Revit but do not use it. I do use a number of AutoDesk products though. This is odd. I wonder where the conflict might be?
Is windows completely up to date? Especially dotnet?
My guess is that the dll is corrupted. They may share this dll and when Revit opens it grabs it.
Search Google for Qt5core.dll
and read down through. The game league of Legends has this issue plus some video cards may also.

FlashPrint has crashed again without having Revit open.
Looks like I need to find a replacement to FlashPrint.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks
Simplify 3D.
Did you install the 23bit or 64bit version? I think the dll is corrupted or got replaced by an incompatible version.
Or you possible have a virus or something related. this kind of behavior is indicative of it.

Thanks
I installed 64bit version as is my machine.
I have run a full scan on my computer without issues.
I’ll take a look at Simplify 3D.
Thanks very much for your help.
Pretty odd. Yea, check out S3D. It is good with these machines.
My guess is another program or something is messing with that dll. The error is out there but mostly related to some games and video cards.
Good luck with it.
