Says " heck perforated plate contacts and restart printer"

checked all connectors and turned on and off. Cannot lower the bed that the printing head has ploughed into. Repeated turning off and can’t get to the menu to lower the bed

help!

Turn printer off and push plate down. the motors are disconnected when turned off. after that give the nozzle a clean and scrape the bed. if that doesnt work, rechecked the reconnector. if that doesn’t work take bed off unscrew plate and give it a clean underneath.

*****Turn off the machine***** After the machine is unplugged, cam you twist the leadscrew that the build plate is on? You can wind it down pretty quickly. This should at least allow the machine to recover.

Hello, propably the problem is on a Zortrax M200?

If yes, then try this:

1. Turn off printer

2. Slightly push plate down with your hand until the nozzle doesn’t touch th plate.

3. Turn on printer

Hello,

Turn off the printer and either:

- rotate Z Screw manually using hand (takes more time)

- Push gently heatbed mount (as close to Z screw as possible, to avoid getting it crooked)

Error itself is most likely caused by Perforated Plate itself or heatbed cable.

Jim we had a similar issue happen more than once and this last time there was a wire short on one of the thermistor/coupler wires. I’m told by a dealer that the extruder cable is the most common replacement item for heatbed related problems so you might try that as well. It’s the wide black ribbon cable fyi
