I think that 3D home printing will grow, but not as fast as I would like to see it.
This year, I’ll be purchasing a 3D printer for home use because I’m constantly coming up with things I need printed.
It took 2 years after purchasing drawing software before I became good enough at drawing/designing to warrant getting a 3D printer.
Placing 3D printers in schools and having the classes designed to use them is a proper place to start developing an interest and actually doing it.
This takes a very long time.
Kids learning and making with 3D printers in school will be the people to cause the 3D printer explosion.
My main hope is that 3D printer manufacturers will not give up and stop development.
That would be a bad thing.
That’s just my 2 cents worth.
