Good afternoon folks.
I would like to know how tp electrolessly coat gold, silver and copper 3D prints. I would like to do this at home without spending a fortune. I am a DIY type of guy and would love to learn any tricks to do so.
Hey Bob, I’m a bit confused about the wording of the question. Are you looking to electroplate thermoplastic parts with gold/silber/copper or do you have parts printed in gold/silver/copper that you are looking to coat without the use of electricity? Sincerely, Jonas

I have an FDM Printer, I make 3D prints using ABS and PLA, I would like to coat some of my prints in gold(copper and silver too) I would like to know if there is a way to coat my prints in these type of metal without the need of electricity using off the shelf chemical kits but I will mix my own chemicals if I have to.
The easiest way without electricity is probably mixing some of Smooth-On’s XTC-3D epoxy coating with the respective metal dust and smearing that on.
Yes there exists a specialized metallic coating system. I can do this for you… RFQ; Please Inquire within at: ContactMachinerySystems@gmail.com
