Hi, I have the newest version of cura. 15.06.02

With the old version I could divide large models by sinking into the printing platform.

I don’t find this in the newest version. Can somebody help me here?

Never knew about that Cura feature. I’ve always used MeshMixer to chop up stl objects (plane cut, then separate).

Yes I did this now as well. But with the Cura feature you could tell the machine per mm where you want to divide.

i would also like this feature back! was very handy!, I have used it where bottom faces were not quite flat do I sink it into the bed 0.2mm, this gives good flat faces then.

You can do this in slic3r. I did it yesterday.
