Hi, I am using Makerbot Desktop slicing software and wanted to do a multipart print (first print some bottom part and then an additional top one after changing filament). Thus I printed the first part and placed the second one at some z offset. I printed the second one and noticed that the print head is just in the first one. I then found the reason: The Makerbot Desktop software automatically places the parts on the build plate before slicing, thus on z=0.

I would need the parts at some z=x mm, where I place them in the software.

So is there a way to disable this automatic replacement of my parts? Or any other way of achieving what I like to do?
