Hi,

I’m looking for stepper motors for a 3D printer, and I was just wondering, what is the difference, if any, between the stepper motors from my home country, the UK and stepper motors ordered from China.

I know that it’ll take a few weeks to arrive from China, but will there be any difference in the quality of the motors, compared to the ones that can be purchased from the UK.

PS: It is the NEMA 17 type motors that I am looking at since they can easily be attached to V-Slot rails. If that’s any help!

Also, what I mean by quality is things like the speed and torque of the motor. Also, the accuracy and precision (so how many steps per revolution etc.)

its very likely that if you buy them in the UK they were made in China.

So the quality will pretty much be the same, it’s delivery times that differ.
