Nice line-up guys, thanks for sharing! Would be curious to see Bibo take the Marvin test

Thanks so much for your messages. One of my customers took the Marvin test. Please kindly check it as below:

Good!

Yes, i bought a BIBO2 touch X laser from BIBO 3D aliexpress online store. It has touch screen, wifi, laser engraving function. The frame is simillar to ultimaker, and the structure is simillar to Makerbot replicator, but much cheaper, from 889USD to 1146.75 USD with free shipping by Fedex International priority service, take about 1-3 days to arrive at your hand. I always print two same objects at the same time with BIBO’s dual extruders, which BIBO names “copy printing” function. This function saves my time at least in half. The laser engraving function is also very interesting. I engraved the photoes on wood to make gifts to my children. It saves a lot of money comparing to buy another laser engraving machine.

BIBO’s slicer is Cura, but i suggest BIBO to use Simplify 3D too. That’s an amazing slicer, and BIBO 3D printer is compatible very well with Simplify 3D. I used to do a 42 hours printing, and the printing quality is really good and the printer is stable. Especially when printing is up to 95%, there’s no filament left for printing. BIBO paused the printing automatically and move the extruder to a remote place, beeping to remind you to upload the new filament to continue the left printing. This function is awesome, and saved my 95% completed object which has to be thrown away.

Overall, pleased so far. 3D printing is so fun.

Well, here is my rundown on BIBO printers; I currently own 2. The first BIBO 2 Base I received printed very nicely out of the box, even under dual print with ABS. My only complaints were that the Z axis switch was very difficult to get perfect for bed leveling, the heated bed took 10+ minutes to get to 80°C, also the microSD card reader on the side was very hard to use. However, BIBO took these suggestions to heart and changed things around with the BIBO 2 Touch and Laser model, easier to level print bed and dual nozzle cooling fans, filament run-out detection, standard SD card reader, and of course a laser engraver. Honestly, I had a few problems from the start, I accidentally changed the comm rate to 115200 and nothing was working. The bed was still taking forever to heat up still and the filament run-out wasn’t working. But those few issues were dealt with and after that it ran very smoothly, the laser is really my favorite part of this printer. Yes you can get laser engravers fairly reasonably priced but not a combo 3D printer.

I found the price to be reasonable, the support to be fantastic and printing to be fair for the overall value of the machine. Would love to see more of these out there. I have posted a few pictures from things I have printed on my BIBO2 Touch.

*Update: The slow heating bed has been updated and is now heating up a lot faster!

Thanks so much for your sharing.

Thanks for your sharing.

what software are you using for the printer

I am using Simplify3D for the laser and for the 3D printer, just for the laser I force the Z axis to the proper focal point and then disable.

Can you fill me in on the genral settings. I am having issues getting it set up.I am using simplify3d but have been printing with an Anet A8 single extruder, this dual one for somedumb reason has me confounded

Well, I have attached my .fff file here which works for me. You will have to rename the file to .fff and then import it into S3D. Should work though.

This printer is amazing. I ordered it on amazon. It gets 5 stars across the board on Amazon’s comment section. The manual and troubleshooting guide are very helpful, and you will get any update on their group chat (only open to users), where you can ask the questions or share your printing experience with other users .

Finally i find ordering BIBO 3D printer on aliexpress will be cheaper. I will make the second purchase on their aliexpress store.

Very nice detail with the laser engraver

What settings is this file supposed to affect? I imported into S3D and try to print with my bibo touch and it was whack. No good. 230 degrees for PLA? No way

It was meant for the scripts, of course you’ll have to change your temp settings. Changing extruder Temps is fairly easy in S3D.

I just assembled my BIBO the Heating Bed and Extruders do not heat. I have gone over the assembly instructions but see nothing wrong. any suggestions?

Hi, sorry for the trouble. The cause may be the thermistor plug is loose on the motherboard after transportation. Just replug it and the printer will run correctly.

Hi everyone, I wanted to purchase a Prusa i3 MK3 but it a three months wait, so I just purchase a Bibo Printer instead, will have it in a week.
