there is no filament going into the extruded it is blocked pretty bad! I have tried loading and unloading at max temperature to try and melt the blockage and run the clean nozzle cycle but it is still jammed. How do I get things moving again? Help!!!

There’s probably a piece of filament that has a very big belly
and is stuck in the middle, not close enough to nozzle to melt and come out nor able to be pulled out from feeding hole. You need to take the extruder apart to take it out OR find a way to melt it like with a hot needle or something. I have used high power infrared LEDs to melt the filament pieces like that without opening it but if you have wires inside the print head then they are going to be fried.

This video might help you. It is specifically about a clogged nozzle on the davinci pro. ▼ Unclogging the Nozzle of the XYZPrinting Da Vinci Pro 3D printer - YouTube
thanks but i’ve seen this. he doesn’t go into detail on how to remove the nozzle assembly as mine is being stopped by the little feed tube and i don’t want to force it.

I have had one of these MAJOR filament clogs. I ended up buying a new nozzle assembly.
This video helped alot, more angle views of what’s going on if you have a serious jam - How to replace nozzle/extruder on da Vinci 1.0 3D Printer - YouTube
My checklist is:
- Remove the nozzle connection cable (multi-chord cable to the right of the nozzle- if you’re looking at it)
- Lift the black spring lever to remove the nozzle, which should come right out.
- If it doesn’t - you may have filament stuck in the guide tube. This will prevent the nozzle assemble from being removed because its not stuck with the black movement assembly. You will need to cut this if you are unable to remove the filament using a simple heat up cycle. I used a thin razor tool and sawed mine off.
I’m still not sure what I did with my first major clogging, but I know I ended up ruining the thin ptfe tube thats just before the hot-end of the nozzle, inside the tube. It made everything so much worse
