Please see attached image, which is a cross section of dual-color print. The preview seems pretty messy, individual extrusion lines are not visible and the view is very rough. The cylinder wall is about 4 mm thick so that there should be about ten extrusion lines visible. Also, there are two bodies (dual-color print) but Cura doesn’t make any difference in preview, which extrusions is does with left or right extruder but it shows both with same color… Do you have similar previews or is there a way to enhance the quality?

Checking the print preview prior to print is an important phase to verify if the print appears as you expect, but currently the lack of details really prevents the proper examination.

This one of the reasons I stopped using cura. The previewer is terrible compared to the one in Simplify3d

Unfortunately some 3D printers come with pre-set Cura, and Cura is freeware (compared to Simplify3D). I happen to have also the Materialise software (came with Leapfrog Creatr HS), maybe it’s worth finding the settings for BCN3D Sigma (currently run by Cura). Well, Materialise has also a plenty of flaws and shortages, but print preview is so important part of slicing s/w that I could tolerate these flaws. I haven’t tested Simplify. Repetier-Host (freeware) has quite good quality preview.
