I recently updated updating my printer to the newest version of a sailfishfirm Ware. After fixing multiple problems that I had with my printer I’m now running into a situation where my x axis will not move fluidly. I replace the connector for the stepper motor and I even replace the stepper motor and I still have the same problem. Note I did not replace the wire from the circuit board to the connector just the connector itself.

I’m just wondering what I can do to fix this?

Any help would be great thanks!

I would change the wire just in case. Also I would clean everything really good and do a light oil.

With the power on can you move the X by hand and feel anything binding or odd? How is the belt tension?

Reflash. Use Replicator1 instructions. Follow the steps in the sailfish manual exactly. You made a mistake in your flashing.
