so, i bought a new printer kit and i managed to build it but now it won’t print, i checked the extruder and the filament does come out of the extruder but when it starts to print it doesn’t do anything, it moves and the bed is level but it just doesn’t print, i also tried sd card and usb printing but both didn’t work, please help
What do you mean it doesn’t do anything? Is the head just parked? Or is it going through the motions on putting layers down just not extruding?

yes it goes through the motions but it doesnt extrude, i checked the extruder and its fine also when i preheat the abs it does extrude but when i start to print it doesnt extrude even though the printhead does move
Which software are you using? I had a similar issue when i was using ReplicatorG and using modified settings. I switched to the Makerware software, it is easier to use anyway.
Are you sure you have filament in the correct extruder? It could be that your GCODE is trying to print with an empty extruder.
I use a 1.75mm filament which is the right filament for the printer
When I first tried cura and just set standard pla it set it at 3mm instead of 1.75 and just retracted the filament too far. My feed unit was also out of alignment so jammed. Now using craftware and printing fine
