CTC which Sailfish version is the best?

I notice the current sailfish is 7.7 but for some reason many people are choosing to install 7.6. Does anyone know if there is a reason for this? Are there any issues with Sailfish on CTC clones?

I am running 7.7 on my CTC and I am getting excellent prints after prints.
