Ok,
I had the clicking issue and solved it by upgrading to the springs per other posts in this group, but now I have a new issue. Both of my extruders work for the first 12 or so layers but then clog up. I thought at first it was the cold break in the tube causing it so I readjusted both nozzles and still had the same issue. I noticed though that when I tried to removed the filament it acted as though it had piled up in the extruder block behind the fan. I also noticed the stepper was so hot I could barley touch it. When I removed the fan, I saw that the stepper gear was also extremely hot.
Now I know the answer at this point would be to adjust the driver pots on the main board, but relive this is a CTC and has no pots to adjust. I then tried to adjust them using RepeiatorG (Spelled Wrong). I cut the 118 in half. It seemed to get me a few more layers but then the stepper got to hot and the same issue occurred.
Does JetGuy or anyone else have any idea as to what I can do to fix this?

The extruder motor can overheat due to too much torque being required. This can be caused by a blockage in the nozzle, or friction on the filament/spool. It is likely to be a partially blocked nozzle or a damaged hotend ptfe inner tube, causing friction. This could have caused the clicking problem before, from the extruder stepper skipping steps trying to force the filament through.
