i tried the ramps board with a piece test software you flash this arduino file the same way you do your firmware, and what it does it tests all step motors by make them rock to and fro in a cycle and also does the same with extruder heater and the bed heater everything works correctly until i flash the firmware for ramps and the end-stops are at the wrong ends and i have no LCD display LCD lights up but there is no characters displayed
Maybe reversed connections to the lcd, it’s a common problem
