Hi, This is my first 3D printer. Been running fine for 3 weeks (or so) and I now cannot print. The y-axis will no longer move in the minus direction unless I manually close (with a finger) the stop switch.
(The Y-axis runs front to back right?) - it will not move back.
Even then it is way out of synch.

I have spoken to the supplier and they are sending me a new x-axis cable!?
It’s running Creator and I’m slicing with Markerbot using Replicator 2.
Have any of you been here before and can shed a bit of light on this for me please.

If you me look looking at the printer from the front of the printer the Y axis goes forwards and backwards.

First my motor cable went out and then my endstop cable burnt out (or wore in two). If I was you I would get an extra endstop and cable and also an extra thermocouple and motor cable! also I would print a drag chain as soon as you get your machine printing again. Also I would grab an extra step stick as well. also I had a very long wait on parts from ctc(and they were stupid expensive) as compared to different sellers on ebay. I would order a spare from a different seller if you are in a hurry to get back up and running. Hope this helps! Please feel free to ask any questions? thanx! GoodLuck!
